Work of the Dog
| Once the dog has successfully completed the
assessment they can begin their formal training. General
obedience is the foundation to any successful service dog.
Once the foundation is laid the specific tasks required will
be taught. These can include but is not limited to: barking
for help, fetching dropped and named items, opening and
closing doors, help lifting legs into bed, alerting you or
others to seizures. |
