The applicant must be between the ages of 6 and 76 years of age. The applicant must be living with a medical or physical disability that can be assisted by the work of a service dogs. The person must also have the cognitive functioning to not only care for the dog’s personal care, such as grooming, feeding and relieving of the dog, but also have the ability to follow the commands of training. The level of consistency in caring and handling of the dog will determine the level of success.
