Michelle has
been working with dogs in a variety of capacities for over 20
years. After graduating from Animal Care from Sheridan College
Michelle ran a successful grooming business in the Hamilton
area before trying her hand at training. Michelle
for over 10 years worked for one of the country’s largest dog
guide training facilities where she started in puppy
socialization and general obedience. Michelle became a
certified Special Skills Dog Guide trainer in 1996.
Since 2004 Michelle has been Senior Trainer where she trained
not only the dogs to accomplish their specific task but also
the other part of the team, the person. Over the years
Michelle saw an increasing need for people to receive training
in their own home with a dog that they have selected and
already established a strong bond with.
Michelle will
meet with each individual to assess their specific needs to
ensure the safety and success of each team.
